Upcoming rehearsals info

Hi all,

Hope you’re all well! Just confirming details for our rehearsals in the run-up to our concert on
Saturday 29 November 2025.

Tuesday 14 October (next rehearsal)
This will take place at our concert venue:

Sherwood United Reformed Church
1 Edwards Lane
Sherwood
Nottingham
NG5 3AA

Please arrive by 6.45pm for a 7.00pm start – we’ll be rehearsing with Ed, our pianist for the Beethoven.

Tuesday 25 November (final rehearsal before concert)
Our final rehearsal before the concert will also take place at the church. We’ll be starting a little later than usual at 8.00pm (due to other groups using the church beforehand).

Please arrive by 7.45pm so we’re ready to start promptly.

Parking and transport:

• There’s a small car park at the church.
• On-street parking is available along Edwards Lane.
• The Sherwood Manor pub (just in front of the church, off Edwards Lane) also has some parking.
• Buses 58, 59 and the calverton run up the A60/Mansfield Road from the city centre.

Safety information for rehearsals

  IN CASE OF A FIRE ALARM

FIRE EXITS – GO OUT USING EITHER DOOR
TOWARDS THE BACK OF THE BUILDING
(where the lockable room is where we keep the music and instruments)
and FOLLOW THE GREEN EMERGENCY EXIT SIGNS to leave the building.
DO NOT USE ANY LIFTS.

  IN CASE OF SOME OTHER EMERGENCY
e.g. if First Aid is needed

We have been using the Medicity building for a considerable time
and have not had any issues arise over security or safety,
but you may wish to put these numbers in your Contacts list
for peace of mind in case any difficulties ever arise in future:
